Adam Kam

Partner

Adam Kam is a Member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and Associate Member of Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM). He is also a Chartered Tax Practitioner (CTP) and Licensed Income Tax Agent under Section 153 of the Income Tax Act 1967 as approved by Ministry of Finance (MOF). Apart from this, he is a licensed Company Secretary. He was also a licensed GST agent in year 2015.

Adam began his professional career from a small audit firm and mainly involved in auditing and taxation. Thereafter, he joined an international accounting firm and specialised in direct and indirect tax compliance and advisory matters. Prior to commencing his own accounting firm, Adam was an Associate Tax Director in KPMG, one of the Big 4 accounting firms in the world.

Adam has over 14 years of experience in providing corporate tax compliance and tax advisory services in a variety of industries which include public listed companies, multinational companies, banks, non-profit organisations, small and medium sized enterprises.

Adam has extensive experience in various tax advisory works which involve advising clients on the corporate income tax, withholding tax and real property gains tax implications, group restructuring, listing exercise, tax due diligence works, cross border transactions as well as stamp duty exemptions.

Adam also has involved himself in speaking various tax topics seminars and webinars during his tenure in KPMG.

Janesse Lee

Managing Director

Janesse Lee joined an international accounting firm upon her graduation with B.A (Hons) in Accounting with honors. She involved in the audit of public listed companies, multinational companies, non-profit organisations, small and medium sized companies.

She has accumulated more than 13 years audit and tax experience in various sectors which comprise trading, retailing, servicing, manufacturing, construction, property development, investment holding, hospitality, financing, statutory bodies, and joint venture. Apart from the above, she has experience in financial due diligence.

Prior to starting her career in AK Associates, she joined the finance team in a public listed company as a team leader.

Janesse is passionate in sharing her accounting knowledge with her subordinates and her clients. With meticulous attention to detail, she provides excellent training to her staffs as well as reliable and value-added services to her clients.
